What is PostgreSQL's default transaction isolation level?

Read Committed

PostgreSQL's default is Read Committed. At this level, each statement sees the data that was committed before that statement started.

"Repeatable Read" is the common mix-up, because it is the default in MySQL InnoDB, not PostgreSQL. "Read Uncommitted" is also wrong: if you ask PostgreSQL for it, you get Read Committed.
